Renée Gadsden grew up in New York City, studied art and art history at Brown University, University of Vienna and University of Applied Arts Vienna. She now lives, works and performs in Vienna being a lecturer at the Vienna Poetry Academy and a founding member of the Akademie für Sprachkunst at the University of Applied Arts.
